Did you know that your local Leisure Centre in Storrington is a registered charity?

Established in 1989 to provide recreational and leisure facilities to the 11 local villages the Centre receives no regular funding from outside sources and is largely reliant upon income from members and users of its facilities. Trading under the Impulse Leisure brand any surpluses made from the operation of the Centre are put back into the facility and its services for the benefit of the local community.

WE ARE MORE THAN BRICKS AND MORTAR

From recent cardiac patients using us for rehabilitation to up and coming athletes who dream of a podium finish or the new mum looking to keep fit – our charity provides this and more.

As an organisation we have an increasing need to raise additional funding through external sources to support the work that we do and the services that we provide to the local community. The refurbishment in 2015 is one example of this work.

We want to increase our range of services including our specialist classes, junior coaching sessions, crèche facilities and outreach activities in local schools to further enhance our position as a Community Hub for all ages and all abilities.

With your support we believe that we can secure the long term sustainability of the Centre and maintain the health and wellbeing of our local community.
