Spending time in nature is one of the most powerful things you can do for your health and wellbeing. Research shows that people who spend two or more hours a week outdoors are significantly more likely to report good or very good health — and the benefits go well beyond the physical.

At Belhus Park, Impulse Leisure has created a community garden that’s open and welcoming to all. It’s a vibrant, green space where people can connect with nature, with each other, and with their local community — whether you’re here to get your hands dirty or simply enjoy the fresh air.

Benefits of spending time in nature

From boosting your mood to building friendships, spending time in a green space can make a real difference to how you feel — body and mind.

Get involved at Belhus Community Gardens

Tending to a garden, watching it flourish, and sharing that experience with others can work wonders for your overall wellbeing. Our community garden at Belhus Park is a space to learn, grow and give back — and we’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us make it the best it can be.

If you’d like to get involved, download our flyer for more information or complete the form below and a member of our team will be in touch.
