It’s also home to one of the largest sprung wooden dance floors in Essex, making it a popular choice for weddings and events with live entertainment.

Every hire of the Civic Hall comes with access to a large, versatile main hall and its sprung wooden dance floor, ideal for everything from formal dinners to live performances. The venue is fully equipped with a stage and full technical facilities, along with full kitchen access and a fully licensed bar for catering your event exactly as you need it.
For larger events with performers or wedding parties, there are three dressing rooms and a separate rehearsal or dance studio available, alongside a large reception and foyer area for guests to arrive and mingle. A cloakroom is also on hand for guest belongings, and catering can be arranged as part of your booking.
