25/06/2020 Update

Impulse Leisure's response to the Government's phased re-opening plans

After Tuesday’s government announcement that gyms, leisure centres and swimming pools will not be included in the next phase of easing of restrictions on the 4th July, it is very disappointing that we will  be unable to reopen our facilities just yet.

We understand that the government are under a lot of pressure to reopen every sector but we and other fitness providers have been working incredibly hard to ensure that the health and safety of our staff & members when we reopen are our top priority.

Over the past 20 years Impulse Leisure has been providing health and fitness services for the whole community through all its activities with the aim of improving the physical and mental wellbeing of those that live in the West Sussex and Essex areas.

As the fight against coronavirus continues we want to be able to continue to provide these services and hopefully soon the Government can give us a date to work towards our goal of creating an active and healthy community, as well as being able to support those who are suffering the long terms effects of the coronavirus.

We are confident that we can provide a safe environment for staff to work in and for members to workout in and as soon as we get the go ahead to reopen we will be ready!

 

17/06/2020 Update

The 9 hole Adventure Footgolf course is now re-open at Belhus Park, albeit with strict operational policies in place. 

Challenge your football skills in a golf setting with our 9 hole course which includes a variety of obstacles and skills which you will need to perform to get around.

15/06/2020 Update

With the idea of an opening date been announced very soon we want to make sure that you are updated as much as possible on what we are doing to ensure your safety when we re-open. That is why we will be providing you with a weekly update on our website and via our social media channels.

We are keeping a close eye on the Governments advice on when we are allowed to reopen and with this in mind we are working towards the provisional date of the 4th July. This date is subject to Government and Local Authority confirmatio

 

02/06/2020 Update

 🎾 | We're excited to announce that on Tuesday 2nd June Southwick’s brand new tennis courts will be opening!

We will have strict guidelines in place to ensure the safety of our customers. As part of this, we ask that all Court Hire Bookings are made in advance by clicking here.

NOW OPEN | Belhus Park Golf Course is now open! Stay Safe & Play Safe on our par-69 golf course, nestled over 46 acres of stunning parkland and scenery ⛳️

19/03/2020 Update

As of midnight on Friday 20th March the Government have instructed gyms and leisure centres to close.

As you are aware it had been Impulse Leisure’s intention to keep its facilities open as we know how important exercise is to so many of you and we didn’t want to act too soon and remove a vital service before it was necessary.  Sadly this is now impossible.

As such Impulse Leisure will be closing all of its leisure centres including the Civic Hall in Essex  from the close of business on Friday 20th March 2020.

We know this decision will not please everyone, but we all have our part to play in stopping this terrible pandemic and we need to do our bit. We’ll keep in touch and let you know as soon as we are able to get our centres up and running again.

No customers will lose money while our centres are closed – all direct debit memberships will be frozen with immediate effect, and anyone who has paid an annual fee will have their membership extended.

About Direct Debits, Payments and Refunds

  • All direct debits will be frozen with immediate effect. This covers ALL Gym, Junior, Youth & Swimming memberships.  You DO NOT need to do anything – we will freeze your payments automatically.
  • Please DO NOT cancel your direct debit with your bank – this will result in a delay in resuming your membership when we re-open.
  • We will give all members advance notice of when their direct debits will start again once we are able to confirm when we will be re-opening our centres 
  • All children’s holiday courses, parties and any other pay-as-you-go activities will be refunded automatically. There is no need to contact us, we will be in touch to process your refund, please allow up to 14 working days for refunds to be processed.
  • So that we can get in touch with people who have urgent bookings, we have a favour to ask of you... Please don’t call us for a refund in the coming days if you have a booking that isn’t coming up for a while. We will be in touch with every customer who needs a refund, but we will have to do this in date order.
