Impulse Leisure's Summer of Fun Brings Families Together with Free Activities
Free Family Swimming and Adventure Footgolf kept the local community active this summer.
Impulse Leisure is celebrating the success of its Summer of Fun offer, aimed at helping local families in Thurrock stay active throughout the school summer holiday.
From the 21st July to the end of August, Impulse Leisure were incredibly proud to welcome 1,367 people to access free family swims and free Adventure Footgolf sessions, held every Wednesday. Gifting a total of £5,984 back to the local community.
It was great to see so many local families and Impulse Leisure members make the most of the glorious summer weather with some quality time spent socialising and staying active outside!
Local parent and Impulse Leisure member Mr Gilbey commented on the free activities Impulse Leisure have offered:
"It's a lovely thing that Impulse Leisure are doing! We saw the Facebook post and decided to come over and check out the footgolf, as our children love football. It's nice to see a free activity for families to take part in during the summer holidays."
Impulse Leisure’s Summer of Fun provided locals and families of all ages and abilities the opportunity to stay active, socialise and make the most of the summer.

It’s been absolutely brilliant to see so many families enjoy our Summer of Fun activities. With Adventure Footgolf at Belhus Park Golf Course and free Wednesday swims, the energy and excitement at our sites have been fantastic. This year alone, we’ve been able to give back almost £6,000 worth of free activity, one of our biggest ever community initiatives to date! A big thank you to our team for helping us to make this happen.”
The Summer of Fun activities successfully ran across Impulse Leisure’s venues until the very end of August and proved to be in demand and well received by the local community.
